SINGAPORE – Weike Gaming Technology, the only licensed gaming machine and electronic gaming table and systems manufacturer licensed in Singapore and Malaysia, is beefing up its manpower with the appointment of two individuals to key positions in the company.

Appointed as Production Director is Raymond Dunlop who will lead and supervise the Weike’s production team in Kuala Lumpur. He will also be tasked with dealing with suppliers and ensuring quality of products by careful logistics and sourcing of materials based on Weike’s specifications.

Prior to Weike Gaming, Dunlop served as a senior manager for manufacturing and procurement for Stargames Corporation Pty Ltd in Australia (a ShuffleMaster office) for seven years.

Commenting on his appointment, Dunlop said:

“It’s a privilege to be learning from and extending my knowledge in a young but ambitious Asian company which aspires to become the Asia No. 1 gaming manufacturer. To me, it’s going to be a lot of hard work and good fun working towards the organization’s goals.”

The company also recently appointed Andrew Masen as Head of Gaming Development to be based in Weike’s Singapore office.

Masen will lead Weike’s game development team where his years of experience in game development will be used to the fullest. With a focus on developing games for an Asian market, Masen is thrilled with the prospect and the challenge he will face in his new role at Weike.

“I am ecstatic to join Weike, and moving to Singapore is one of my boldest career moves to date. I strongly believe in living Asia, breathing Asia and understanding Asians, and this is particularly vital for designing games meant for Asia markets,” said Masen.

Like Dunlop, Masen comes from Stargames Corporation Pty Ltd where he Was for the past eight years its Game Design Manager. Masen is credited with the success Stargames has had in several markets in Australia.

Commenting on recent appointments, Weike Gaming CEO David Kinsman said:

“A critical differentiator in effective manufacturing lies in the planning of the inputs and outputs wisely in order to meet and support the sales requirements. Ray’s deep experience of more than 3 decades in this industry will ensure that materials used shall be one of the highest and have the most reliable qualities. His vast knowledge in procurement practises, manufacturing processes, logistic hands-on approach and ability to identify and solve expenditure issues impacting on the financial return on sales will allow us to deliver our commitment to customers timely, and this is extremely important for a customer focused organisation like ours.”

On the appointment of Masen:

“I am happy to have Andrew, who we believe is one of the best game designers in the world who spent the last 8 years designing some of the best games in the toughest markets with great success, on board with Weike.”
