NEW YORK – With the aim of expanding the company’s business operations to the promising Chinese-speaking market, Scientific Games Corporation has appointed Yan Xuan as its President for Greater China and a con-current role as Senior Vice President of Scientific Games International.
In his new role in the company, Yan Xuan will be responsible for implementing the company’s strategic directions for growth in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Scientific Games CEO Lorne Weil commented:

Yan’s depth of knowledge in government relations and business development and his experience in large multi-national corporations will provide strong leadership as we drive our efforts in the greater China marketplace. His impressive track record for delivering results and driving execution is an important complement to our business.”
Yan holds degrees from Beijing University and Duke University and has worked for several prominent law firms and has been in-house legal counsel for several companies. Prior to Scientific Games, Yan was with Oracle Corporation as Vice President of Government Affairs and Business Development for the Greater China Region. His impressive resume also lists work experience with Microsoft, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies.
