UNITED KINGDOM – FootballPools.com, the football-focused online betting business by Sportech, has just gotten a new executive.
Will Muirhead has been appointed by the Glasgow-based gaming company as its new Managing Director for its football gaming business.
As Managing Director, Muirhead will be responsible for FootballPools.com and establish it as a premier destination for online football gaming.
He will be tasked as well in developing the firm’s existing online football products, developing new gaming products, acquiring content businesses and creating strategic relationships to expand the business online.
FootballPools.com officially launches next month, coinciding with the start of the football season in Europe.
Before Sportech, Muirhead established Tixdaq, a leading provider of data to the live music industry and its consumer arm, Tixdaq.com which is UK’s leading event ticket price comparison site.
