PHILIPPINES – IP Converge, the data center subsidiary of IPVG Corp.; and First Cagayan Leisure and Resorts Corp. (FCLRC), the Philippines’ master franchisor for online gaming, have formed a partnership to build and equip a new data center for hosting online gambling services owned by foreign gaming companies.

The joint venture calls for around US$3 to US$5 million in investment for the data center to be put up in an IT Park in Cagayan province located in the northern Philippines.

FCLRC, through the First Cagayan Converge Data Center, is already hosting eight foreign companies in the Cagayan Special Economic Zone Authority (CSEZA). These companies operate online casinos with hosting and support services from Cagayan.
In addition, FCLRC is also hosting 18 other companies at the main IP Converge facility located inside the RCBC Plaza Tower located in the nation’s capital of Metro Manila.

IP Converge and FCLRC hope to concentrate all online gambling services as well as hosting in the new facility.

CSEZA is the only eco-zone in the Philippines to license online gaming companies as part of the tourism industry.
